Flowers of Chaotic Design are creme with patterned maroon eye above a green throat. The eyezone can have up to 8 different patterns, from blue, orange to different shades of maroon , which are busted up by lack of color. Such can be more or less depending on environmental conditions. Pattern seems to be better the hotter the temperatures run. Chaotic Design has been a good parent for making patterned UFO's and spiders. Flower height seems to be taller this year, I remember last year is was not as tall, maybe 41 inches. The tall height is important when hybridiuzing because most of the patterned daylilies are short and also Evergreen, both of these traits would be considered negative in Northern hybridizing. A dormant patterned daylily is worth its weight in gold.......$100
