Dark Monkey

Dark Monkey is a very dark red 8” flower with a nice green throat and black eye. Flowers have an orange and red band between the throat and black eye zone. Flower color is darker than photo shows. The dark flowers are above average for being sun fast. Flowers have 3 way branching with 25-bud count. First tetraploid introduction out of Connell's fabulous spider Black Plush. Introduced because it was one of only two in a thousand seedlings that had a green throat and a pattern.
