HEAVENLY VELOCIRAPTER      (James Gossard 2005)

(Gram's Dream x Heavenly Beginnings)   Tet 8 ” Dormant  31” Re
The flower Heavenly  Velocirapter, was named from the Velocirapters in Jurassic Park. Certainly this flower fits right in the landscape of prehistoric monsters. Flowers have huge yellowish white teeth on both petals and sepals. Flowers are mauve red with a darker red eye and yellow green throat. Plants have 3 way branching with 15-bud count. An important parent for breeding red unusual forms with teeth. Currently, most are all purple evergreens.    Flowers open well in the cold, whereas the pod parent, Gram's Dream, does not.
