In an effort to improve on the awesome breeder Holly Dancer, we took it to all the best Red Spider daylilies. Subsequently treating all the seeds with oryzalin in an attempt to bring Holly Dancer genetics to the Tet level. Several seedlings bloomed tet. I See Stars bloomed diploid with 5-inch star shaped flowers. Color is a vibrant sun fast red with a vivid green throat. A bud count of 22 or more with well branched scapes. Fertile both ways. Grows very well acoss all of the zones( zone 3-11) As a test I overwintered I SEE STARS in a unprotected pot with no damage. Hardy northern genes in a semi evergreen As a breeder, I See Stars has produced my best classic red daylily spider to date. (GREAT RED DRAGON) and 2nd generation kids GREEN INFERNO ,GREEN THROATED ROBIN, GREEN ARROW, HEAVENLY SPIDER MONKEY and RED SCORPION.
