(Gossard, James) 2008 introduction
(tetra Itsy Bitsy Spider x tetra Nut Meg Elf)
TET 56" M Dormant emo fr Rebloomer 4" 5 way branching 22 buds.
Ancient Elf is an unusual formed crispate golden yellow flower. My last introduction of the Dragon Fly series of direct conversion to conversion of both parents. Flowers which float in the breeze, like Dragon Flys. Below is the photo of the clump that was separated for line out of its introduction. From it, one can see the great plant habit, branching, bud count , and height. Ancient Elf is my personal favorite of its sibs. A great parent for hybridizing mini tet spiders and larger spiders. Much like its sibs, it is very rust resistant, drought and flood proof. An extremely important landscape plant. Very fertile both ways, sets bee pods. Photo below shows the bee pods. . ......$50
