Jaws of Life
(James Gossard 2003) - Tet 34” EV Mla, 9” Flowers, 3 way branching, 22 bud count, rebloomer.  (Sea Urchin x Tetra Spindazzle x Braided Lightening)  From maiden bloom, I knew I had a winner.  Jaws of Life raises the bar for edged and teethed unusual formed daylilies.  Sometimes it pinches and other times shows more cascading.  Photo was shot in greenhouse where it was 10 inches, outside it is not as red, but always has a great edge.  It is the narrowest and biggest daylily I am aware of with teeth and edge.  Thank to John Benz for use of Braided Lightening which is a kid from Startle. I consider Jaws of Life an important hybridizer plant.    Fertile both ways.           $75 single fans
