Sky King

Sky King is one of my best red daylilies.The fire engine red flowers are 9 inches in diameter. It is my second tallest red daylily, second only to Sky Dragon. In a clump, Sky King is stunning. It can be seen from a long distance. This is what growing daylilies is all about, color that can been seen from the curve. When planted in a landscape setting , like next to or in front of tall grasses, fences and etc, the landscape appeal is phenomenal. For even greater shock, plant One Above you in the middle and Sky King and Sky Dragon on either side. Another tall one, Reach for the Heavens would also be a great choice. All in all Sky King has it all, color, branching , bud count, dormancy, large flower size,super dark green foliage,very resistant to leaf streak. Foliage is near perfect. Even better yet, it is a bud builder, which makes for a very long bloom season. Blooms into August when few daylilies are still left blooming. One of my best. .......$100
