Sun Bear's are well known for having sharp sickle-like claws. The flower, SUNBEAR exhibits the same characteristics of sickle claws. A dominant edge flower, since both of its parents have edges, claws and teeth . Heavenly Beginnings is loaded, the claws are seen also on Awesome Blossom. The Cover of Salter's 1998 catalogue shows this trait well. Flowers are rose plum with a dark plum eye and edge with white claws and teeth. Photo is just an average shot of the teeth. With the heat and rebloom teeth are even more pronounced. Flowers have 3 way branching with 16-bud count. A very easy to use pod and pollen parent. Breeds both narrow and round forms. Parent of my best double eyed and edge teeth flower. $50 Single fans
