WAYNE FELGAR      (James Gossard 2004)

Wayne Felgar is an almost florescent red flower with a very green throat.  Color is very different, a new color in the unusual form class. Named in remembrance for a wonderful person whom was a tremendous helper and worker for me. My daylily beds were never cleaner and well maintained. This one was one of Wayne's favorites. Big bold and showy.  It is also a personal favorite of mine also. The throat pattern is also unique; it has a yellow, orange and red band between the throat and the petal color. Sometimes a darker eye and white edge is apparent with cooler temperatures.  Brings Temple's diploid spider genetics into a northern hardy red flower.  Very fertile both ways. An easy pod parent full sun.  (Fire From Heaven x Tetra Rainbow Spangles)   Tet 9” Dormant 47” M  Unusual form pinched $50 Double Fans
